COMO SNAPSHOT
2026 Forum Boulevard Makeover

The Forum Boulevard makeover is a $12.3 million road‑widening and safety project between Chapel Hill Road and Woodrail Avenue, with construction expected to start in summer 2026. What the project includes:

  • Add one new driving lane in both northbound and southbound directions, expanding Forum to four through lanes.

  • Build bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the road to improve walking and cycling access.

  • Rehabilitate or replace the existing bridge over Hinkson Creek to handle more traffic and improve safety.

  • Upgrade multiple intersections and entrances to improve traffic flow and reduce crashes along the corridor.

  • Install roundabouts at Katy Lane and at Woodrail/Crestwood to calm traffic and reduce conflict points.
