Did you know…Lewis and Clark camped near Moniteau Creek at Manitou Bluffs, just outside Columbia, Missouri, on June 7, 1804? Clark documented discovering rock carvings and pictographs, now lost, but the site remains a significant landmark along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.
